Real Madrid edged another step closer to the La Liga title after defeating Barcelona 3-2 on Sunday evening.

Jerrymusa.com reports that the visitors got off to a flying start, with Christensen thumping a header into an empty net just six minutes after Lunin was caught out during a corner.

Madrid responded well, and Vinicius confidently pulled them level from the spot after Cubarsi tripped Vazquez.

VAR Denies Barca a Crucial Lead

Yamal thought he’d given his side the lead once more, but after a lengthy VAR check, no goal was given as the whole ball didn’t cross the line before Lunin scrambled it away.

Cancelo goes for the big switch out to Yamal, who brings it down with a lovely first touch before curling a dipping shot right on top of the goalkeeper. He parries it away, but only as far as Fermin, who pokes it over Lunin from close range.

Valverde spots Vinicius in acres of space down the left, and he gets a yard on Kounde to whip a wonderful cross into the far post. None of the Barca defenders spot Vazquez, who darts forward to meet it on the volley and fire Madrid level.

It’s a brilliant win by Diaz from inside his own half before he switches it out to Vazquez, and he sweeps it into the box. Joselu misses it in the middle, but Bellingham is on hand to fire it in from the far side.

The full-time score at Santiago Bernabéu is 3-2 in favour of Real Madrid.
