Nigeria Bagged a 2-0 Victory in their AFCON encounter against the Lions of Cameroon on Saturday evening to seal their place in the Quater final.
Lookman Put Nigeria Ahead
Jerrymusa.com reports that Lookman scored twice to give the Super Eagles a comfortable victory, Nigeria looked very dangerous on the attack right from the beginning of the game and missed quite several chances in the first half.
Nigeria scored in the 10th minute, which was later ruled as offside by the Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
In the 36th minute, Osimen snatched a loose ball from the Cameroonian defence and set up Lookman in a through pass which was well-executed to give Nigeria the lead.
Nigeria continued the attack in the second half and found the back of the net again after a well-placed strike from Ademola Lookman to seal the victory for the Eagles.
Nigeria will now face Angola in the Quarter Final, after the latter went past Namibia 2-0.
