Ivory Coast are the African Champions after scoring two goals from behind to win the AFCON 2023 final match 2-1 on Sunday evening.

Nigeria Scores First
Nigeria caught a lucky break through a corner kick to score the opening goal with Troost Ekong’s fantastic header in the 38th minute.
The Ivorians put more pressure on the Nigerians in the second half, sending in a crossball in the Nigerian defence and finding a goal through a header by Kessie in the 62nd minute.
The pressure kept coming in from the Ivorians as Haller neatly converted a crossball to score the winning goal for the Ivorians in the 81st minute.
Ivory Coast are the African champions, while Nigeria will go on to receive the second-place prize.
