Bandits killed a man in Kwarfada village in Tsafe Local Government Area of Northern Nigeria, because he refused to marry his daughter to their colleague.

jerrymusa.com reports that one of the bandits had proposed marriage to one of the girls in the village, but her father refused.

Marriage was conducted after giving his daughter to an indigene in the village

According to a source, her father decided to give his daughter to one of the men in the village instead of the bandits. after the marriage was concluded, bandits invaded the community and killed the girl’s father.

The source further confirms that they also asked the girl’s husband to divorce her so that she could marry their colleague and threatened to kill him if he did not follow their instructions.

The man quickly divorced his wife and she remarried the bandit who took her to the forest.
