Two car drivers that are yet-to-be identified, reportedly knocked down two policemen on stop-and-search duty around Oshodi, in Lagos State.

jerrymusa.com reports that the incident happened on Friday around 7:30pm. in the evening, while the policemen were on patrol.

According to a source, the cars used by these drivers for the attack are Toyota Camry and Lexus 350, and their plate numbers were yet to be identified.

Car drivers knocks down policemen

The drivers increased their speed and knocked down the policemen after they were flagged down for stop and search.

The source further explained that one of the inspectors sustained severe injury on his head and left hand while the other officer was “rolled over by the two vehicles.”

Furthermore to the information received from the source explained that the two unknown drivers attempted to “snatch the rifles from the officers after they had knocked them down,” but  the fast intervention of their fellow police officers  made the rifles not to be stolen by the evil car drivers.

Rush policemen to the hospital

After the attack, the attacked policemen were quickly rushed down to a nearby hospital named; Divine Grace in Mafoluku–Oshodi, for medical attention, as further investigations were ongoing.
