President Bola Tinubu slipped while boarding a vehicle at the June 12 Democracy Day celebration in Eagles Square Abuja has been addressed by his Special Adviser on Social Media, Dada Olusegun.
Jerrymusa.com reports that In a post on his X handle on Wednesday, Olusegun reassured the public that the President simply missed a step and experienced a minor stumble.
Tinubu Continues With The Ceremony
“He tripped, but it was a mild misstep. He immediately continued with the ceremonial rounds. No issues,” Olusegun stated.
This clarification followed the circulation of videos showing President Tinubu momentarily losing his footing as he stepped into the vehicle.
Despite the brief incident, the President quickly regained his balance and continued with the proceedings without further issues.
The ceremony at Eagles Square was a key event in the series of celebrations held nationwide to mark Nigeria’s annual Democracy Day.
