Ireland faces an influx of illegal migrants coming to the country from the United Kingdom, where the law on their expulsion to Rwanda was passed.

Jerrymusa.com reports that eighty percent of recent asylum seekers in Ireland entered the nation across the unguarded border with Northern Ireland after travelling from the United Kingdom.

Ireland Not to Support Any More Migration

Ireland’s prime minister, Simon Harris, declared, “This country will not in any way, shape, or form provide a loophole for anybody else’s migration challenges.”

On Monday, British Home Secretary James Cleverly and Ireland’s Minister of Justice Helen McEntee are scheduled to meet to discuss the current state of affairs.

Additionally, a law that would make it easier for undocumented immigrants to return to the UK will be presented by the Irish Cabinet.
