Visa Ban on Nigerians Lifted by UAE

UAE visa Ban on Nigerians was lifted on Monday. This is in light of the impending return of flights to Nigeria by Etihad and Emirates Airlines. The choice was made after discussions between President Bola Tinubu and Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates.


“On Monday in Abu Dhabi, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, signed a historic accord that led to the immediate lifting of the visa requirement for visitors from Nigeria.


Jerrymusa.com reports that the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, confirmed the news in a statement he signed on Monday. “Furthermore, by this historic agreement, both Etihad Airlines and Emirates Airlines are to immediately resume flight schedules into and out of Nigeria, without any further delay.
