The winner of Miss Nigeria International 2023 is Miss Blessing Nelson, who represents Abia State.
Nelson, an Abian native, was crowned at the event held at the Canyon Lekki Halls and Event Centre in Lagos State by the departing Miss Nigeria.
The Ambrose Ali University Ekpoma, Edo State 200-level student defeated 12 other finalists following rounds of displays in traditional, beach, and formal attire.
The winner of Miss Nigeria International Classic was Miss Oluwatobi Fadayomi, who placed second, and the winner of Miss Nigeria International Tourism was a student named Ephraim Christel Amanda.
According to jerrymusa.com Nelson, who was overjoyed to hear she had won, admitted she hadn’t predicted it. “Winning has always been an ambition of mine, and my victory today demonstrates that with God’s assistance and diligence, one may do anything,” she remarked.
Brendan and Crusader Nigeria Limited, the pageant organisers, called the competition outstanding and the top pageant on the continent.
Executive Director Brendan Nsikak said, “This year’s event was awesome as most of the contestants brought out their A-list game to the pageant, right from the first day of camping to the finale.”
The CEO revealed, “Miss Nelson is assured the sum of N1.5 million in monthly salary and a yearly endorsement from different brands by virtue of her win,” while wishing the winner a successful term.
She also receives numerous additional comforting offers from brands, as well as an all-expense-paid trip to the United States from Gonowtravels & Tours. She will represent Nigeria internationally as well.
Notable figures in the field were also given awards for their exceptional contributions to society, which forced the organisers to acknowledge their dedicated work and hard work in the field as a whole.
The CEO of Gonowtravels and Tours, Ishola OKIKIAYO, unveiled Miss Abia as the official brand ambassador of the firm, which was the event’s high point.
