Liverpool outshines lacklustre Nottingham forest 3-0 at anfield

A lacklustre Forest team couldn’t keep up with Liverpool at Anfield, as the Reds cruised to a 3-0 victory.

According to jerrymusa.com Jota gave Liverpool the lead when he poked in the loose ball after Nunez’s shot was blocked, and the Uruguayan international doubled the lead four minutes later when he converted Szoboszlai’s cross.

After the break, any hope of a Forest comeback was extinguished when Turner made a huge mistake in judging the bounce of Szoboszlai’s punt upfield, allowing Salah to capitalise with a cool finish to give Liverpool the win and move them to 23 points, just three behind leaders Tottenham.

Cooper will be eager to end Forest’s winless run of six games, as his team is only five points above the relegation zone.
