Members of the Saraya al-Quds group (meaning Jerusalem Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad) claimed responsibility for shelling Jewish settlements in southern Israel.
Jerrymusa.com reports that according to the group’s military communiqué, which was uploaded on its Telegram channel, Saraya al-Quds fighters fired rockets at the neighbouring settlements on the Gaza Strip’s border as well as the cities of Otef-Aza and Sderot.

“In reaction to the ongoing killings of civilians by the occupation authorities, the resistance forces launched this attack. The document states that “multiple volleys of rocket launchers were fired at enemy targets.”
