An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 has been recorded in China’s Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre said.
Jerrymusa.com reports that the epicentre was 43 km northwest of the Chinese county of Kuqa, home to 102,000 people, at a depth of 24 km.
According to our correspondent, there were no reports of casualties or damage.
