The House of Representatives has resolved to investigate some officials of federal government ministries, departments, and agencies involved in alleged certificate racketeering with Nigerian students.
Jerrymusa.com reports that the resolution was adopted on the House floor on Wednesday, after a motion made by Abubakar Fulata, the member representing the Birniwa/Guri/Kiri-Kasamma Federal Constituency of Jigawa State, was adopted.

Remember that in December 2022, Nigerian reporter Umar Audu completed his degree programme in six weeks at a university in Cotonou, Benin Republic, and went on to serve in the National Youth Service Corps, which was required of him.
Audu then went on to accuse anonymous Ministry of Education officials of being part of the racketeering network. This incident drew significant outrage from well-meaning Nigerians.
“Identify officials of MDAs and students who benefited from such institutions and their campuses in the last ten years,” Fulata demanded of the House during the motion’s debate.
