In a surprise ceremony, Olamide Agboola and Abiodun Alli took their wedding vows at Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal II (MMA2) on Saturday, leaving onlookers Astonished.

According to Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Ltd’s COO, Kola Bamigboye, “this unprecedented airport wedding aimed to showcase MMA2 as more than just a terminal.”

He hopes this will pave the way for future airport weddings, emphasizing the terminal’s role in bringing people together. “We like to bring people together.

Monica Oguta, Head of Aviation Security, saw the wedding as an opportunity to add value to airport terminals.

“I started nursing the idea of an airport wedding some years back, and when the opportunity came, we seized it,” she said.

The couple, who are not airport staff, had envisioned an airport wedding for years and seized the opportunity when it arose.

Officiated by Oluwabukunmi Aminu, the ceremony saw the exchange of vows and rings. Passenger Abigail Babatunde was among those who witnessed the unique event, stating, “I had never seen anything like it before.”

The wedding was a first of its kind at the airport, and it marked a new chapter in the lives of the happy couple.
