According to Senator Godswill Akpabio, President of the Senate, Senator Barau stated, “On our part, we will continue to support the government to address the nation’s concerns.

“Due to this, the President’s demands are being given expedited consideration. We’ll keep up the pace to hasten our nation’s development.

Barau urged Nigerians not to give up

The Deputy Senate President likewise advised Nigerians not to give up, saying President Tinubu’s dedication will help the nation overcome its problems.

Nigeria will celebrate 63 years of independence on Sunday, and the federal government has proclaimed Monday, October 2 as a holiday to mark the occasion.

In his message to Nigerians on the occasion of the nation’s 63rd Independence Anniversary, Senator Barau (APC, Kano North) urged the populace to remain steadfast in the promotion of national unity, support, and prayers for the government to be successful in its efforts to improve the country’s fortunes.
