A Nigerian airline, Air Peace, has increased its capacity on the London route due to increasing demand.
Additional tickets are now available for individuals interested in flying with the airline to London, according to an official statement signed by the administration of the airline and shared on X, formerly Twitter.
“We have decided to increase the capacity on the route due to overwhelming demand and interest in our London route,” the announcement states. This indicates that additional seats are now accessible.
Air Peace Warns Travelers to Beware of Fraudsters
“Air Peace is grateful for the assistance of the Nigerian community in the United Kingdom and Nigeria. We are grateful for this opportunity and will keep working hard to make the entire nation proud.”
Jerrymusa.com reports that air Peace, which started operating a daily route to Gatwick, London, on March 30, 2024, has also informed travellers wishing to make reservations for flights to the United Kingdom to beware of fraudsters who cloned its official website.
The airline said in a post on X that the phoney website was made using part of their online identity collateral.
It says this: “We have learned of the existence of a website called “www.flyairpeace.uk” that is misleading people into believing it is an official website.
“We would like to take ownership of this bogus website and distance ourselves from the Air Peace brand. www.flyairpeace.com continues to be the sole and official website of Air Peace.”
“The website should be completely ignored by the public, as it is impersonating Air Peace and evading passengers.”
