As Man United transfer continues to be a hot topic across football platforms, we take a cursory look at the major names that have been associated with the Old Trafford club ahead of the summer transfer window.
Jerrymusa.com reports that England striker, Harry Kane is likely to join Manchester United from Tottenham Hotspur this summer as United’s search for a proven number 9 intensifies. The Red Devils are desperate to get back in contention for the Premier League title and are looking to build a formidable squad for that challenge.
The top Premier League club will be aiming to bring a world-class striker to Old Trafford, probably after the huge takeover deal currently ongoing. This will be the crux of the next stage of Erik ten Haag’s rebuild to restore Man United to its glory days.
With a trophy already won this season, currently 3rd in the Premier League, and still, very much in two cup competitions, Erik ten Hag’s rebuild has started on a beautiful note.
Recall that since the former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson retired, Manchester United have not found a replacement who can continue the legacies of the octogenarian who remains the most successful manager in the club’s history.
Man United Transfer Targets
There is a pool of at least 5 world-class strikers in Europe at the moment, who are getting mentions for a potential Man United transfer, from which United are expected to pick a centre-forward that would provide extra offensive firepower.
A couple of red-hot striking prospects and established names are hitting it big across Europe this season, scoring tons of goals and regularly increasing their personal tally.
Top of the list is Harry Kane, Tottenham’s talismanic English striker with huge Premier League experience and a track-record of consistency through many years. Another incredible option is the man leading a title charge in Naples, helping Napoli to challenge favourably for the Serie A title for the first time
in 30 years, Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian has netted 25 goals in all appearances this season.
Goncalo Ramos is another option for the Man United transfer. The impressive talent is just 21, and has already become a big name among the best strikers in the world.
After his hat-trick against Switzerland following his replacement of Ronaldo in the XI at the world cup, the young striker has gone ahead to prove that his exploits at the Mundial were no fluke.

The List Goes On
Ivan Toney is yet another sublime option. He has been hitting impressive numbers at high-flying Brentford this season.
Analysts believe that Man Utd are not a team that creates lots of chances from wing play for strikers. This is, however, except there is an upgrade at the right-back position. Frankly speaking, Victor Osimhen might also be reluctant to leave Napoli this season, especially if the terms and conditions don’t seem right.
He might prefer to stay one more season in Naples, do his thing in Serie A and Europe for yet another term and finally mature into his full element where he can unarguably be referred to as the best striker in the world.
Ramos, clearly the youngest on the list, is one option that can indeed be explored. He has significantly upped his game since the departure of Darwin Nunez to Liverpool. A great team player, no doubt, Ramos is one that probably ticks all of Ten Haag’s boxes for an ideal striker.
Man United Transfer: Kane Leads the Poll
However, Kane comes in with massive Premier League experience, a guarantee of 20 to 25 league goals per season, coupled with the fact that he is an excellent ball player.
One would want Rashford to thrive with pace and space behind defence lines. However, with a style considered to be a bit similar to that of Son, Kane would certainly score tons of goals and create a deluge for wingers.
Albeit, considering his Premier League experience, Spurs won’t accept anything less than £100m for Kane. It is important to also more that, it would be a big steal if the deal worked out.
Conclusion
Toney, also with league experience, coupled with being a deft finisher, will be a great addition to the Ten Hag’s rebuild. An honourable mention is Brighton’s Evan Ferguson. Decent forward deal in the summer, relatively young and the Haaland type of finisher. Very decent on and off the ball too.
In all, Manchester United must make a statement in the market this window,
if they must get back on track and restore the glory days.
