Workers have stormed various offices of electricity distribution companies to protest over the Band A tariff hike.
Jerrymusa.com reports workers of the Nigerian Labour Congress and the Trade Union Congress, gathered at the offices of the Distribution Companies (DisCos) on Monday, preventing employees from starting work for the day.
In Lagos, protesters were seen at the corporate headquarters of the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company, singing and demanding a reversal of the Band A tariff.

Similarly, in Oyo, demonstrators stormed the office of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, picketing the premises. Our correspondent observed that police officers were present to prevent any disruption of law and order.
