Hoodlums clash in the Ile-Epo area of Lagos State, resulting in the injuries of several people in the market.
Jerrymusa.com reports that a fight started in the market situated in the area on Wednesday night and continued until Thursday morning.
Impact of The Clash
Some shops were set on fire, and some goods were destroyed in the process.
Upon visiting the scene of the incident, it was gathered that an early intervention by the police was restricted by the hoodlums.
A fire service truck that drove into the market this morning was also forced to reverse after being pelted with stones.
The police and other security services are currently there to restore peace in the area and bring perpetrators to justice.
