Rising Hardship: Tinubu, Govs in Emergency Meeting in Aso Rock

President Bola Tinubu is currently meeting with governors and some security chiefs at the Council Chamber, Presidential Villa, Abuja, over the current rising hardships in the country.

According to credible reports, President Tinubu called the conference in response to the nation’s economic difficulties and the recent spike in insecurity in some regions of the nation.

Presidency to Discuss Solutions to Economic Decline

Jerrymusa.com the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike and Vice President Kashim Shettima were also present at the emergency meeting.

Remember that the economy has been in decline, accompanied by hardship and a high cost of living, ever since President Tinubu assumed the nation’s administrative leadership and said, “Subsidy is gone.”

Women and young people have taken to the streets to protest as a result of the situation, and there has also been a rise in criminal activity and increased political tension.

While President Tinubu has instructed his authority to provide around 102,000 metric tonnes of various goods, such as rice, maize, and millet, to the Special Presidential Committee on ergency, This team, which includes all pertinent government authorities, is working to find a method to improve the situation.

It was learned that the purpose of the current emergency meeting is to find a way to reduce food prices, food insecurity, and other financial problems.  The state governors of Ekiti, Delta, Borno, Lagos, Kwara, Nasarawa, and Edo are among those present.

Other states include Sokoto, Niger, Taraba, Adamawa, Cross River, Ogun, Enugu, Yobe, Anambra, Akwa Ibom, Abia, Plateau, Kaduna, and Sokoto.
