2023 Warmest Year on Record - NASA

The year 2023 has been the warmest since records have been kept, specialists from the US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) disclosed.

Jerrymusa.com reports that NASA’s investigation indicates that the average surface temperature of the Earth in 2023 was the warmest on record.

Global Temperature has been on the Increase

Global temperatures were approximately 2.1 degrees Fahrenheit (1.2 degrees Celsius) higher than average in 2018, according to a statement from NASA.
The government claims that July was the warmest month on record.

In general, the average temperature of the Earth in 2023 was 1.4 degrees Celsius higher than that in the late 19th century, when modern record-keeping started.

“In 2023, hundreds of millions of people around the world experienced extreme heat, and each month from June through December set a global record for the respective month,” added the statement.

There will be a Climate Crisis

Both NOAA and NASA’s (the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) global temperature report confirms what billions of people around the world experienced last year; we are facing a climate crisis,” NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said.

The statement emphasises that, according to scientists, the planet’s global warming trend is caused by human activities and fossil fuel emissions, as well as by yearly or multi-year fluctuations in climate such as El Nino, aerosols and pollutants, and volcanic eruptions.
