A Family Court in Ibadan, on Tuesday, ordered that Michael Ayinde, 51 and his son, Abiola, 19, to be remanded for allegedly raping his daughter and his sister.
The magistrate, Mrs O. O. Ogunkanmi, who refused to accept the pleas of the defendants, ordered them to be remanded at the Abolongo correctional facility, Oyo town.

jerrymusa.com the offense happend at their residence of the defendants, the father and the older brother of the girl who was raped, in Agboti Olosan area, Alakia, Ibadan.
Ogunkanmi said that the remand of the defendants in custody was for the court to await the outcome of legal advice from the Oyo State Directorate of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
She, later, adjourned the case till Feb. 21, for more investigation.
Inspector Gbemisola Adedeji, The Prosecution Counsel, had earlier informed the court that Abiola Ayinde, brother to the complainant and their father Michael Ayinde had unlawful sexual intercourse with his younger sister and daughter between 2021 and December 2023.
Adedeji said that the brother had a time allegedly impregnated his sister without her consent.
She said the offence contravened section 34 of the Oyo State Child Rights Law, 2006.
