Champions League: AC Milan Revenge, beat PSG 2-1 at San Siro

Milan revived their Champions League knockout-stage hopes after a battling 2-1 comeback victory over the star-studded PSG.

Jerrymusa.com reports that the hosts, without a goal or a win in the competition up until this game, fell behind to former foe Skriniar as the ex-Inter defender headed past Maignan after just nine minutes.

The Rossoneri’s jeers turned to celebration just three minutes later, though, as an acrobatic Leao finish hauled his side back on level terms. Dembele would soon be denied by the crossbar as PSG threatened a second goal that never came before the interval.

As if buoyed by facing adversity, Giroud headed Pioli’s side into a 50th-minute lead that the home side never looked like relinquishing.

Thiaw and Tomori led their backline with experience, relying on their youthful years, as Milan jumped up to third in Group F, just a point behind PSG and two behind Borussia Dortmund, who beat Newcastle Untied 2-0 to go top of the table.

The Rossoneri host the table-topping Dortmund on November 28, when PSG are at home to Newcastle. It is all to play for in Group F, but until next time, goodbye for now!
