Nigeria's insecurity can reduce by 70℅

According to Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, the interior minister, securing the borders reduces Nigeria’s insecurity by more than 70%.

A nation that cannot control its borders and security personnel will always be under strain, Tunji-Ojo added in his keynote speech at a breakfast meeting hosted by Business Day in Abuja.

He reaffirmed his commitment to securing the nation’s borders, stating, “I have no justification at all for not doing so. President Bola Tinubu will address issues.

He remarked, “We must structure the discussion in accordance with the current administration’s theme of renewed hope.

He continued by saying that the Ministry of Interior’s duties go beyond the issuance of passports and that he did not want to be known as the Minister who fixed passport issues because there were “bigger problems to solve.”

According to jerrymusa.com the minister continued by saying insecurity is a risk for every nation that is unable to critically assess, control, and decide who enters and exits the nation, the speaker continued.
