Super Eagles breaks deadlock beats Mozambique 3-2 in a friendly

The friendly match between Super Eagles and Mozambique took place on Monday at the Estádio Municipal de Albufeira, Portugal

The first half started with Mozambique scoring an early goal with Catamos strike to give Mozambique a lead in the game.

An equalizer came in shortly after at the 19th minutes from Moffi as the Nigerian team continued to mount pressure on the Mozambique team.

According to jerrymusa.com the Super Eagles continued pressure led to another goal at the 30th minute with Onyeka’s superb strike which puts the super eagles ahead of Mozambique and makes the score 2-1 in favour of Nigeria.

Edmilson was awarded a red card and sent off after a brutal challenge on the Nigerian team reducing the Mozambique to a 10 men team

Before the close of the first half, Nigeria was awarded a penalty kick within the 3 additional minute in first half, which was beautifully converted by Moses Simon to make the score 3-1 in favour of the Nigeria.

The second half started with the Mozambique team looking strong on the attack, they mounted more pressure which later resulted in a goal by Bangal at the 55th minute.
