EPL twist: Wolve beats Mancity 2-1 claims all 3 points

EPL twist unfolds as Wolverhampton Wanderers defeated Manchester City 2-1 on Saturday at the Mollineux, handing them their first loss of the season.

The Wolves winger sped through the City defence and easily slipped past Nathan Ake before Pedro Neto crossed the ball in for Ruben Dias to put the ball in his own net.

Wolves put pressure on City in the first half as they tried to contain Neto’s speed on the wings.

At halftime, the visitors were down but swiftly got back in the game when Julian Alvarez curled a free kick past Jose Sa.

However, Hwang Hee-chan gave Wolves the advantage again by calmly tucking in after Matheus Cunha discovered him unmarked in the box.

Jerrymusa.com reports that Even though they lost, Pep Guardiola’s team still has the first spot in the standings. However, if Liverpool defeats Tottenham in Saturday’s late game, they might lose that spot.

With seven points from seven games, Wolves sit in 13th place.
