Lagos mother hospitalized after losing two of her children to electrocution on Thursday, an unnamed mother is currently fighting for her life in the Mushin neighbourhood of Lagos State.

Local sources claim that the 10-year-old girl and the 7-year-old kid were electrocuted after returning from school and trying to turn on the television.

Jerrymusa.com reports that the parents, who were rumoured to have been gone or in the room when the incident occurred, were devastated to learn what had happened to their kids, with the mother collapsing and now fighting for her life in the hospital.

Our correspondent, speaking with a local by the name of Toyosi, he said that the tragedy was the devil’s doing.

She continued, “I heard the girl was trying to turn on the TV from the plug when she got electrocuted on Thursday after school.

The younger child tried to touch his big sister and was electrocuted as well without even knowing what had happened to his older sister.

“They remained there until the light was turned off, at which point they dropped. I’ve been told that the woman is still in the hospital. She still isn’t over her shock.

We were told that when people went to visit her, she was unable to speak or cry and instead just sat still and looked.

The mother of the children had a third kid she was nursing when the two elder ones passed away, according to a neighbour who declined to provide her name.
